Treat in Germany is currently produced by an editorial research team building an independent information portal for international patients. We do not present the editorial team as physicians and we do not invent medical-review credentials that the project does not yet have.
What the editorial team does
The team researches, structures and updates information using primary sources such as German university hospitals, German federal health information, recognized medical societies and current clinical guidance. Each substantive guide lists the sources used and a source-review date.
What 'sources reviewed' means
A source-review date means the cited official or professional sources were checked for the current version of the page. It does not mean that an independent physician has clinically reviewed or endorsed the article.
Medical review status
Until a qualified clinician is formally engaged to review relevant content, medical pages explicitly state that independent clinician review is not claimed. When medical reviewers are added, we will identify them transparently, describe their role and distinguish editorial updates from clinical review.
No individual medical advice
The editorial team does not diagnose users, decide whether a procedure is appropriate for an individual or select a hospital for a patient. Those decisions require qualified clinicians who have reviewed the person's medical history and records.
Corrections and commercial independence
Material errors should be corrected when identified. Advertising and future patient-service relationships are governed by our Commercial Disclosure and do not give advertisers or partners editorial control over medical conclusions.
